Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing/Heating Engineer on a part time bases (depending on projects). Current scope: run new pipes to radiators, install plumbing for sinks, install underfloor heating, install pipes for gas boiler, install plumbing for fridge & fix a couple leaks
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in various environments.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using your mechanical knowledge.
- Lift heavy components safely while adhering to health and safety standards during installations or repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating system installation and maintenance.
- qualified plumber and heating engineer
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various working conditions.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to plumbing/heating projects is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site.
- Have own tools / equipment
Pay: £250.00 per day
