We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team here in Peartree Barn, providing exceptional care and educational experiences for children. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood care & education . This role involves working closely with children, ensuring their safety and well-being, while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
Duties
- Assist in the daily operations of childcare services, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Support the planning and implementation of educational activities tailored to various age groups.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the children's needs.
- Drive children to various activities or appointments as required, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with nursery settings or similar environments will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
