Room Leader Level 3 (Full-Time)
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive team. If you have experience leading a room in a nursery or similar setting, strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, and a genuine passion for early years development, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will take the lead in providing high-quality care and education within your room, supporting your team to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that promotes every child's development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily running of your room, ensuring high standards of care (physical, emotional, social, and intellectual)
- Support and promote safeguarding and child welfare at all times
- Plan, deliver, and oversee engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Act as a key person for a group of children while supporting other staff in their key person role
- Monitor, assess, and record children's development, ensuring accurate tracking across the room
- Mentor, guide, and support room staff, including students and less experienced practitioners
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, acting as a first point of contact for room-related queries
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Liaise with management on room performance, staffing, and development needs
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent childcare
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
- Proven experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting, ideally in a senior or leading role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- Passion for early childhood development and team leadership
- Proactive, reliable, and a good timekeeper
- Creative, fun, and energetic approach
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Additional Information
- Full enhanced DBS check and references are required
- Duties may include supporting daily routines such as meal prep, cleaning, and personal care (including nappy changing)
