Jane Mullen Speech Therapy Ltd. is a well-established independent paediatric Speech and Language Therapy service based in Northwich, providing high-quality, child-centred communication support to children, young people and their families across Cheshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapy Practitioner to join our team.
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with children and families and would like to develop their clinical skills within a supportive paediatric Speech and Language Therapy environment.
The Role
Working under the direction and supervision of our Speech and Language Therapists and Principal Therapist, you will support the delivery of high-quality therapy programmes across clinic, school and community settings.
You will have the opportunity to work with children and young people with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, including children with more complex needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering individual and group therapy programmes designed by Speech and Language Therapists.
- Working directly with children and young people to develop their speech, language and communication skills.
- Supporting therapy programmes within clinic, school and community settings.
- Working with groups of children as part of universal communication approaches.
- Providing clear feedback following therapy sessions to the supervising therapist, families and relevant school staff.
- Maintaining accurate and concise clinical records and case notes.
- Developing, adapting and organising therapy resources and communication aids.
- Using your initiative to adapt therapy activities within agreed clinical protocols and guidance.
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals.
- Supporting members of the wider Speech and Language Therapy team when required.
- Recognising and appropriately managing clinical risk.
- Undertaking relevant administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the service.
- Promoting positive awareness of speech, language and communication development.
- Maintaining high standards of confidentiality, GDPR and information governance.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with children and young people.

- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
- Self-motivated and confident in using their own initiative.
- Able to work independently while recognising when advice or supervision is required.
- Organised and able to manage their workload effectively.
- Experienced in working with children with complex speech, language and communication needs, or keen to develop this experience.
- Committed to child-centred, high-quality therapy.
- Keen to develop their clinical knowledge and skills through training and CPD.
- A supportive and flexible team member.
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as the role involves working across different settings within Cheshire.
