Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Groundskeeper / Handyman to maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces and facilities. This role involves performing landscape maintenance, operating various tools and machinery, and handling general repairs to ensure our environment remains inviting and well-kept for guests and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and gardening to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators for groundskeeping, construction, or repair projects.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and landscaped areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with basic construction or renovation projects around the site, utilizing construction experience when needed.
- Perform general repairs on fences, pathways, equipment, and other outdoor structures.
- Support the team with gardening tasks that promote horticultural health and aesthetic appeal.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators.
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and routine maintenance procedures.
- Construction experience or background in building repairs is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and upkeep.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
