Location: Yorkshire (Sheffield – covering Wakefield, Huddersfield, Sheffield & Rotherham)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per year + 7.5% bonus opportunity + car allowance
Hours: Full-time

The Role:
As one of our Area Managers, you’ll provide leadership and operational support across our Yorkshire nurseries, ensuring every setting delivers outstanding care, education and customer service while supporting Nursery Managers to achieve their full potential.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead and support multiple nursery settings across Yorkshire.
- Coach, mentor and develop Nursery Managers and leadership teams.
- Drive high standards of care, education, compliance and customer experience.
- Monitor nursery performance, occupancy, budgets and financial targets.
- Support settings in preparing for Ofsted inspections and maintaining Good or Outstanding standards.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, EYFS, health & safety, GDPR and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with families, colleagues and local communities.
- Analyse performance data and implement continuous improvements across your region.
- Support business growth, sustainability initiatives and future nursery developments.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who brings inspiring leadership, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for early years.
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years’ nursery leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, EYFS, health & safety and childcare legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Confident managing budgets, financial performance and operational standards.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Wakefield, Huddersfield, Sheffield and Rotherham.
Desirable
- Childcare-related Degree, Foundation Degree or Level 3 qualification.
- Proven experience leading Ofsted inspections with Good or Outstanding outcomes.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration.
- Passion for sustainability and improving outcomes for children.
