This is an exciting opportunity to join our Transactional Recruitment Team, supporting both Police Officer and Police Staff recruitment, focusing on Police Officer recruitment.
As a member of the team, you will support candidates throughout their recruitment journey, from advertising and application through to onboarding and their first day in role. You will provide a professional, confidential and customer-focused service, offering information, advice and guidance to both internal and external customers.
You will take ownership of day-to-day enquiries, researching and responding to queries in a timely and accurate manner. You will maintain and update recruitment systems and employee records, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and maintained in accordance with relevant procedures.
The successful candidate will build positive working relationships with colleagues, managers and external stakeholders, helping to deliver an efficient recruitment service and ensuring high standards of customer care throughout the recruitment process.
The Human Resources team is based within modern office facilities at Force Headquarters. The site offers access to a gym, canteen and woodland surroundings, with Burntstump Country Park on the doorstep.
Key Skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office IT packages.
- Previous administrative experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
