Family flour milling business Stoate & Sons is looking to recruit a full time position to assist in maintaining a clean environment, delivery driving and assist in the flour production.
The position will involve cleaning of the work areas and equipment, flour manufacturing and delivering our flour to the end user. Full training is provided so no previous experience in any of these fields are required.
The flour production element involves -
- Help in the preparation of flour mixes.
- Packing of the finished product (25Kg & 8Kg sacks).
- Stacking 25Kg sacks onto pallets.
- Loading the van for deliveries (mostly 25Kg sacks).
- Assisting with the monitoring systems.
- Customer Service.
- Supporting general maintenance.
- General assistance in the smooth running of the mill
- Van Driving Cover (Over 30s)
- Keeping to weekly cleaning schedule
- Cleaning
Applicants will be fit and energetic with good communication skills, the ability to handle 25Kg sacks of flour consecutively, basic IT skills, a valid driving licence, a forklift licence is preferred but not necessary, flexible approach towards working routine, a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility along with being able to work both in a team and on your own.
The position is for 9 hours per day Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour break however hours may differ slightly depending on deliveries and cover for other staff members.
We are offering £14/ hour for the position for hours worked between 6am and 6pm and £15 an hour any hours worked between 6pm and 6am.
