Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, inspecting, and maintaining drainage systems to ensure efficient water management across various projects. Responsibilities
- Design and develop drainage solutions tailored to project specifications, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Conduct site inspections to assess existing drainage systems and identify areas for improvement or repair
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment to install, repair, or upgrade drainage infrastructure
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and technical requirements
- Perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks necessary for system installation or maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Proven experience with welding, plumbing, , or mechanical assembly in drainage or related fields
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge of drainage systems and infrastructure components
- Driving licence essential for this role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy machinery, construction sites, and environmental regulations
- Confined Space Certified preferred but not essential as training provided.
- Experience of Pump Stations
- Experience of Sewage Treatment Plants
- Experience of HPW Jetting
- Experience of CCTV Survey
- Experience of electrical works would be prefered but not essential
