The Role As a Barista at HiTea, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile and a perfectly crafted drink. You will work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and craft our menu of bubble teas, milk teas, and specialty beverages, crepe, bubble waffle, souffle to exact company standards.
- Assist with daily kitchen preparation, including brewing teas, cooking tapioca pearls, and properly portioning our fruit jams and purees for blended drinks.
- Provide excellent customer service, warmly welcoming guests, answering menu questions, and making recommendations.
- Process customer orders and handle payments efficiently using our POS system.
- Maintain a pristine working environment by ensuring the bar, kitchen, and customer areas are clean, organized, and compliant with all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Right to Work: Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cafe, bubble tea shop, or hospitality environment is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.
- Attributes: Punctual, reliable, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by store operations.
