We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as a full-time Warehouse & Production Support Operative.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in warehousing and stores who is self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills.
This is a key role as the efficient operation of the warehouse and stores, supporting production and sales, and the effective operation of goods in and out of the business is essential to the success of the company. We operate a Quality Management System and have ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Taking delivery of goods, booking in and storing them.
2. Checking for damaged or missing items.
3. Moving stock by hand or with machines.
4. Packing and wrapping goods (ideally with experience of packaging Dangerous Goods).
5. Loading goods for sending.
6. Booking and liaising with couriers.
7. Keeping stock records.
8. Inventory control.
9. Documentation and data entry (using our ISO Standard Operating Procedures)
11. Cleaning the warehouse.
12. Use of cutting machines.
13. Issuing inventory from warehouse to the production
14. Conducting monthly checks in Stores for perishable goods and expiry dates
Required Skills and experience:
- Good communication and customer skills
- Flexible and have the ability to work under pressure
- Good attention to detail
- Good numerical skills
- Able to use a computer and use a stock management/control system
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Good time management
- Teamwork
- Dependability
Qualifications:
Qualified to use Articulated Truck and Counter-Balance Forklifts.
Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable).

Salary:
Starting salary is £27,500 per annum.

- Holidays - 22 Days plus Bank Holidays
- Monday-Thursday 8:00am – 4.30pm & Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm.
