Overview
National Care Service (NCS) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will complete person-centred Occupational Therapy assessments for adults and young people, including assessments commissioned by local authorities and other partner organisations.
This role is suitable for both experienced Occupational Therapists and newly qualified professionals who are looking to develop their skills within a supportive health and social care organisation.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify therapy needs
- Develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, medical conditions, and functional levels
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, strength, and daily living activities
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to manage conditions and promote independence at home and in the community
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, social workers, and caregivers to coordinate care plans
- Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or registration as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience working with diverse populations across various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or community programs (nice-to-have)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and build rapport with clients of all ages
- Knowledge of current therapeutic techniques, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment
- Excellent organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation requirements
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Pay: £28,881.19-£49,313.53 per year
