About the role
Energy Concerns Ltd is looking to take on two people to join our growing solar and battery installation team, covering Leicester and the surrounding areas: a qualified electrician, / apprentice. You'll be working on full solar PV and battery storage fit-outs from start to finish.
You'll be part of a valued team who understands and cares for your well being.
Solar experience is ideal but not mandatory as training will be provided.
Roof work will be involved — if you've already done this, great; if not, we'll get you trained up and confident on-site.
We're hiring for both roles at once, so apply whether you're a qualified spark or keen to learn the trade as a mate/apprentice.
What you'll be doing
- Full solar PV and battery storage installations, from wiring to commissioning
- Working as part of a small, hands-on team
- Roof-based installation work (training provided if needed)
- Driving to and from sites in a company-supplied van
- EV charging installations
- Battery storage
- General electrical installations
What we're looking for
- Qualified electrician (18th Edition or equivalent)
- Experience working on solar installations
- Willingness to learn roof work, or prior experience with it
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working outdoors on-site
- Excellent standard of workmanship and communication
- Caring, respectful manner when working inside customers' homes
- Can-do attitude
What we offer
- £32,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
