Salary: Pay Range starting on £25,000 and rising annually up to £31,000 per annum. In addition to this increasing salary there is a potential recruitment/retention/responsibility allowance which allows the opportunity to earn up to a potential additional £5,000 per annum.

Renew Education is a relatively newly established Alternative Provision Centre in the heart of Bridgwater, dedicated to supporting young people with complex needs and supporting them to thrive. We’re seeking a passionate and resilient educator to join us on our journey to help shape a nurturing, impactful learning environment. We currently work with 9 local schools, with students ranging from Year 3 - 11. We wish to increase capacity and are looking for the right candidate to be part of the next phase of our growth.
What you’ll do
- Plan to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to individual learning needs
- Provide one-to-one mentorship and build trusting relationships
- Develop personalised pathways and bespoke learning opportunities that foster growth, confidence, and achievement
- Provide feedback to commissioning schools as to how a young person is progressing.
What we’re looking for
- Proven ability to build respectful, positive relationships with young people
- Experience working with vulnerable learners, including those with SEMH needs or previous trauma
- A track record of implementing strategies that lead to measurable progress
- Deep understanding of how young people learn and how to adapt teaching accordingly
