Duties
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks across various areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently to maintain hygiene and appearance.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to create a safe environment for staff and visitors.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a schedule of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks to ensure consistent upkeep.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
Skills
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and mops safely and effectively.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
