Duties
- Deliver tailored personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance to clients in their own homes
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while accommodating dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe living environment
- Support clients with assisted living activities, including mobility exercises and behavior management strategies for conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands using your own vehicle or company transportation as required
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including first aid response when necessary, to ensure client safety at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments with a focus on patient-centered care
- Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and managing behavioral challenges
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward senior care and child care when applicable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs of clients with limited strength or balance issues
- Effective meal preparation skills tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation for client outings and errands
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of health protocols for diverse care needs
- Good communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
