Our client is looking for an organised and enthusiastic 1st Line ERP Support Administrator to join their Business Systems team on a three-month fixed-term contract. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll receive full training on the company's QAD ERP system while developing practical skills that will help build your career in IT Support, ERP Systems or Business Applications.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the company's ERP system by:
- Providing first-line support to system users and resolving support requests and where you cannot resolve you will triage and pass to 2nd line support
- Managing support tickets through Freshservice and escalating more complex issues when required
- Creating and maintaining user accounts and permissions
- Processing and maintaining business-critical data within the ERP system
- Supporting product and pricing updates
- Assisting with software releases, testing and system improvements
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure accurate data and excellent user support
No previous QAD experience? No problem. Full training will be provided.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys learning new technology, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in delivering great customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Some experience within a First Line Support, IT Administration or Helpdesk environment, or be a recent College or University graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work accurately
- A proactive, positive and flexible attitude
- A genuine interest in developing a career within IT Support or Business Systems
It would be great if you also have experience with ERP systems, SharePoint, Freshservice or manufacturing environments, although none of these are essential.
