Job Summary
HRBP or Senior HR Advisor position to provide professional HR support to 2nd line managers and employees within the Bolton Site. This role is responsible for delivering HR guidance, timely and best policy practice people-related solutions, ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, and support the effective implementation of HR initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance on policies, procedures, and employment legislation, managing employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, and flexible working cases.
- Support attendance management, absence monitoring, Occupational Health referrals, and workforce planning, including temporary labour requirements.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee data, and HRIS systems in compliance with UK GDPR and company standards.
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, partnering with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition to deliver successful hiring outcomes.
- Assist managers with performance management, appraisals, talent reviews, and development planning.
- Produce HR reports and KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely workforce data and metrics.
- Manage Right to Work compliance, visa administration, and immigration-related activities, maintaining accurate records and supporting audits.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, communications, surveys, and recognition programmes to enhance employee experience.
- Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate employee data, timely submissions, and resolution of employee queries.
Typical Knowledge & Skills
Experience of working within a ‘best practice’ HR environment, ideally in a manufacturing organisation. Proven experience of handling discipline/grievance, recruitment, absence management, employee communication and handling of all day-to-day elements of HR. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with an ability to take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to managing their work and being part of a small, people and business-focused HR team. High level of confidentiality required.
Typical Qualifications and Previous Experience
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent HR experience)
Strong knowledge and practical application of UK employment law.
Experience managing employee relations matters throughout the employee lifecycle.
Proven experience providing HR advice and support to 2nd Line manager and all staff
Strong working knowledge of HR systems and HR data management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills is an advantage.
Experience producing, analysing, and presenting HR reports and KPI data
Strong problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making capabilities.
Commercial awareness and a good understanding of business operations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
