The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Operations & Customer Growth Manager to become the commercial hub of the business.
This role is responsible for running the day-to-day office operation, managing customer relationships, supporting workshop efficiency, generating sales opportunities and ensuring every job is correctly authorised, recorded and invoiced.
You will effectively own the customer journey from first enquiry through to vehicle handover.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience
- Manage all customer enquiries.
- Welcome customers to the business.
- Provide regular job progress updates.
- Manage vehicle handovers.
- Generate reviews and testimonials.
- Resolve customer issues professionally.
Sales & Business Development
- Follow up all estimates and quotations.
- Generate repeat business from the customer database.
- Promote additional services and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement projects.
- Re-engage dormant customers.
Workshop Administration
- Schedule workshop bookings.
- Manage job progress and workflow.
- Coordinate customer approvals.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain CRM and workshop management systems.
Commercial & Billing Control
- Ensure all labour, parts and additional work are captured.
- Check job cards for invoicing accuracy.
- Obtain customer authorisation for additional work.
- Raise invoices and process payments.
- Monitor outstanding balances.
- Maximise workshop profitability.
Marketing & Social Media
- Capture daily workshop activity.
- Create photo and video content.
- Manage social media posting.
- Promote projects and customer vehicles.
- Support marketing campaigns and events.
Essential Requirements
- Proven sales experience.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong administration and organisational ability.
- Passion for cars and the automotive industry.
- Confident with social media and content creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
