We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant/Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children’s developmental milestones in areas such as social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Support the implementation of early childhood education curricula aligned with best practices and regulatory standards
- Foster positive communication with children, parents, and team members to build trusting relationships
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with senior staff to manage daily routines and ensure smooth operation of the nursery
- Contribute to ongoing assessments of children’s progress and assist in preparing reports for parents and guardians
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide young learners effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation or home visits
- A genuine passion for child development and creating enriching learning experiences
- A knowledge of the Welsh Language is desirable but not essential

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 19.0 – 38.0 per week
