Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold facility standards
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation as required
