About the Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barber / Men's Hair & Grooming Specialist to join our team at Fades Hair Studio.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality men's hair styling, fading, and grooming services in a modern, fast-paced barbershop environment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help clients look and feel their best, creating a welcoming atmosphere where precision and confidence flourish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skill in men's styling, beard care, and facial treatments while building a loyal client base.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide expert men's hair cutting, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Perform male grooming services including beard trimming, shaping, hot towel treatments, and facial skincare.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Engage with clients through professional consultations to understand their style goals and recommend suitable products.
- Ensure excellent customer service to foster repeat visits and maintain a great shop atmosphere.
- Stay updated on the latest men’s hair trends, fades, and grooming techniques.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in traditional and modern barbering techniques (skin fades, tapers, scissor work, and beard shaping).
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Clear communication skills in English to conduct client consultations.
- Knowledge of men's skincare, beard maintenance, and grooming products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy barbershop environment with high attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly, and reliable attitude.
