Security Concierge (Homeless Accommodation)

We're looking for professional, reliable, and compassionate Security Operatives to join our team in Kirkcaldy. If you're calm under pressure, enjoy working with people, and want a role where you can make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Security Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's accommodation while providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing access and exit to the accommodation
- Welcoming residents, visitors, and contractors professionally
- Building positive relationships with residents through respectful communication
- Monitoring CCTV and carrying out regular security patrols
- Completing internal and external building inspections
- Managing scheduled building lockdown procedures
- Maintaining accurate incident reports and shift records
- Registering visitors and verifying identification
- Liaising with emergency services, client representatives, and on-call support when required
- Monitoring external areas, including car parks
- Completing any other reasonable duties requested by management
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Valid SIA Front Line Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard)
- Good written and spoken English
- Professional, calm, and confident approach
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous security experience
- Experience working within homelessness accommodation, housing, social care, or with vulnerable individuals
- Full UK Driving Licence
