Jam Coding is looking for enthusiastic individuals to deliver fun, engaging computing sessions in primary schools across Cardiff. We provide full training, so previous coding experience is not required.
About the Role
You'll deliver structured, hands-on computing sessions including:
- After-school clubs
- Computing workshops
- Curriculum lessons (for suitable candidates)
- Holiday clubs
Both Lead Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available depending on experience.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children.
- Is confident leading and engaging groups of children.
- Is reliable, organised and professional.
- Has basic IT skills and is willing to learn.
- Enjoys inspiring children and building their confidence.
- Welsh-speaking opportunities are also available. We particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers, although this is not essential for most roles.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (or other reliable transport).
- Availability during term time, particularly after school.
