As a School Transport Driver you will be required to collect and transport passengers from designated pick up points, to their destination, ensuring at all times that they are safe and comfortable. Alongside this you will be expected to;
· To undertake daily vehicle checks before use and at the end of each day (brakes, oil, water, tyres, cleanliness and any vehicle damage).
· To keep tidy, whilst in possession, the vehicle (inside and out) and to report when interior/exterior clean is required.
· Display a good attitude to our clients, school staff, visitors, public and colleagues.
Licencing Requirements
- Must hold a valid Fenland/Huntingdon District Private Hire licence, or a Valid Hackney Carriage licence with any district - Assistance for obtaining the licences can be provided through the Swift Training Academy, including help with funding.
OR
- A Category D / Unrestricted D1 licence

Hours of work – Monday to Friday, Term Time Only. 07.15 – 09.15 and 14.30 - 16.30 (split shift).
Additional Work is also available if more hours are required.
