Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our dynamic transportation team at Tarmac Clitheroe . In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 tipper truck to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various sites. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with your knowledge of tipper/tarmac operations and delivery experience, will ensure smooth logistics and exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 tipper truck to transport tarmac & aggregates.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with road regulations.
- Load and unload materials accurately, ensuring proper tipping procedures and securement of loads.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 driving license with proven experience operating tipper trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
- Prior delivery driver experience, especially within construction or tarmac work
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and reliability.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading materials and inspecting equipment regularly.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Min 25years old for insurance purposes
