Supporting business development activities and working closely with research and marketing teams to raise the profile of our valuation services.
-
Assisting with the delivery of financial reporting valuations for a diverse client base, including private estates, banks, local authorities, educational institutions and government bodies, including nationally significant portfolios of natural capital assets.
-
Liaising directly with clients, auditors and other stakeholders throughout the valuation process.
-
Undertaking a varied mix of valuation, landlord and tenant, compensation and other professional instructions.
-
Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other specialist services across the firm, including planning and development, commercial property and energy.
-
Valuing a diverse range of rural assets, including farms and farmland, diversified rural estates, residential and commercial property, renewable energy assets, woodland and natural capital interests, heritage property and specialist agricultural assets.
What Will It Take to Be Successful?
The modern rural estate is increasingly diverse, and we welcome applications from experienced valuers both within and beyond the traditional rural sector. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with specialist valuation expertise who are looking to broaden their experience, relocate into the rural market, or apply their skills to a wider range of asset classes.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
-
RICS Registered Valuer status and relevant valuation experience.
-
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality professional advice and exceptional client service.
-
Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
-
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
-
A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to contribute to the success of both local and national teams.
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to work effectively with clients, colleagues and professional contacts.
-
Enthusiasm, integrity and a proactive approach to work and personal development.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected national team, work on a broad and stimulating range of rural property instructions, and build a rewarding career within one of the UK's leading property consultancies.
