We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator Semi Skilled Part Time to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and welding techniques to join metal components accurately and efficiently
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
- Assist in the fabrication of metal structures, frames, and components according to specifications
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure precise assembly and fitting
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all welding and fabrication activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with an understanding of welding standards
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, material handling, and equipment operation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or sketches accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Experience with welding safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills for effective teamwork
