Our Role
As a Visual Supervisor, you lead visual standards on the shop floor while supporting the wider team to maintain a beautifully presented store. You combine hands-on visual execution with confident floor leadership, ensuring brand standards and seasonal direction are delivered consistently.
This role represents progression from executing visual tasks to supporting others to maintain standards and visual impact., while supporting store performance and daily operations.
Customer and Brand Experience
- Lead by example in delivering inspiring visual presentation that reflects The White Company brand and seasonal direction.
- Ensure visual standards support customer flow, storytelling, and purchasing decisions.
- Partner with store teams to ensure visual presentation enhances service and overall customer experience.
- Help ensure seasonal messaging is clearly communicated through presentation and layout.
People and Culture: Supporting the Team
- Guide, train, and motivate team members to maintain high visual and service standards.
- Support colleagues in understanding seasonal direction, product storytelling, and visual priorities.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help others grow in confidence and capability.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
- Act as a point of support between the team and store management, stepping up when required.
Operational and Commercial Excellence: Improving Performance
- Use basic sales insight and feedback to understand what is working visually and escalate opportunities.
- Oversee the execution of window and in-store visual merchandising in line with company guidelines.
- Deliver weekly visual focus actions and seasonal updates with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work with Store Management and Area Visual Managers to identify trading opportunities and adjust layouts to support sales.
- Ensure all current product is represented, replenished, and presented to maximise commercial impact.
- Support stock movement, replenishment, and housekeeping to maintain premium standards.
- Support keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store when required.
- Ensure Health & Safety and operational procedures are followed during all visual activity.
- Support new store openings, model store set-ups, and out-of-hours visual activity as needed.

- Experience in visual merchandising, with exposure to guiding or supporting others.
- A strong eye for detail, design, and presentation.
- Confident communicating and working collaboratively with store teams.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive role model who leads by example.
