Overview
Due to business expansion we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be assisting the vehicle driver and dealing with customers daily.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the movement of furniture and equipment as needed.
- Ensure that all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and tidy.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs or issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and addressing their inquiries or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for those who may be required to operate company vehicles However not essential.
- Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fit and healthy due to nature of the job.

This will be for a 20 hour contract through weekly payroll with overtime available every week up to 40 hours per week.
