Xiang is a new contemporary Chinese small plates bistro and bar in the heart of West Kirby.
Our menu celebrates authentic Chinese flavours presented in a modern, elevated casual dining experience, alongside a carefully curated drinks menu.
We are looking for a passionate, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join us from the beginning of our journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in hospitality and develop professional cooking skills in a supportive, ambitious environment.
Relevant experience is useful but isn’t the priority. We’re far more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and progress.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Learning and supporting the preparation of our Chinese small-plates menu
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Helping with deliveries, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Supporting the chef during service
- Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver an excellent dining experience
