Responsibilities: please note that this role may include some 08.00 starts and 17.30 finish times.
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities for children in the early years
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behaviour, and progress
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Experience:
- Experience of a senior role
- Previous experience working with children in an early years setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with curriculum frameworks, such as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills, ability to delegate and support your team with every day practice as well as inhouse training.
