Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to join our mission to become the No.1 heating company . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic gas appliances and systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help provide reliable heating and hot water solutions for our valued clients. The work will be London and surrounding areas and for the right person full time employment can be an option
Duties
- Install, service, and repair domestic gas appliances such as boilers, cookers, and central heating systems in residential properties
- Conduct safety checks and diagnostic assessments to identify issues with gas systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal appliance performance and safety compliance
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently
- Carry out heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during job assignments
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and safety inspections in accordance with regulatory standards
- Assist with installation of new appliances or systems as needed, ensuring proper fit and function
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer or similar role within the residential sector
- Valid gas safe registration or equivalent certification demonstrating compliance with industry regulations
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex gas systems effectively
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, plumbing tools, and carpentry skills
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating heat outputs, and interpreting technical diagrams
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and safety procedures

Pay: £350.00-£400.00 per day
