Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Phlebotomist and Pharmacy Services Assistant to join our very busy and dynamic healthcare team.
Working as part of a team, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist in delivering high-quality patient care. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of patients in our Pharmacy.
Duties
As a Qualified Phlebotomist, you will be skilled in performing venipuncture and ensuring the accurate and safe collection of blood samples following the required SOPs
As an experienced Healthcare Services Assistant, you will support the delivery of various NHS and Private healthcare services (Blood tests, Ear Wax Removal, Vaccinations, POC testings..) to the wide range of patients who come to our Pharmacy.
Qualification & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Recognised or transferable training in Phlebotomy and/Venipuncture.
- A demonstrable passion to support patients in their journey to get better.
- Previous experience in a busy healthcare setting is very essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy towards patients.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and documentation.
