Overview:
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Analyst, this role is part of a business analyst team which engages with the Nomad Business and Group functions on all Technology matters, ensuring that we successfully support the challenging business agenda.
This role will have specific responsibility for managing HR and system related application initiatives. Experience in HR, Payroll and Time and Attendance and knowledge of associated processes is expected.
The focus of this role will be split between managing the business in their day-to-day use of existing applications and systems (managing 3rd party supplier support and service delivery contracts), as well as leading in the definition, scoping and delivery of changes and new projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership & Strategy

Take responsibility for the definition and functional design within the areas identified

Work with the business analyst community to perform strategic reviews and deliver systems and business functional change recommendations

Collaboration with (BA’s, Infrastructure Analysts, Solution Designers, Service Delivery, Outsource partners etc.), Coaches and mentors project teams

Business Analysis
-
Lead the collection, understanding, documentation and translation of the business requirements for changes and projects, into functional specifications and detailed test plans. Ensure that all activities comply with relevant Operating model procedures, including relevant Service Management, Project Lifecycle Management and Sarbanes Oxley controls

Assist in the production of business cases covering the development and implementation of business changes as necessary

Document all work using the required standards, methods and tools and recommend /lead improvements to standards where appropriate

Process Design

Provide Business Process design and documentation expertise, recommend business process and/or system improvements using formal (and informal) techniques. Lead the development and implementation of these improvements / new processes

Test & Training

Test, implement and train in systems and facilitate system and user acceptance testing

Business Knowledge & Expertise

Develop a broad understanding of Nomad processes, applications, and data flows, and a deeper knowledge across the HR function and other functional touchpoints
- Evaluate industry and competitor solutions, and incorporate into own thinking, analysis and solution design

Collaboration

Collaborates with other business analysts and Technology teams to ensure consistency and quality of system and process implementations and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the team and function

Incident & Problem Management

Oversees the delivery of incident & problem management and day to day support services within functional area via 3rd party support service agreements

Holds regular service reviews with key suppliers within functional area
Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the business and the outsourced suppliers, in order to add significant value in optimising our SAP and Non- SAP application technology’s effectiveness and contribute to the success of this thriving and dynamic FMCG environment.
Qualifications:
Essential

Graduate calibre
- An IT professional or end user with good experience in the relevant business areas

Strong analytical skills coupled with knowledge of how IT applications can maximise business advantage

Knowledge of market leading HR systems and related process implementations for Success Factors, Kronos Work Force Dimensions, Payroll system integration

A desire and ability to work in a pan-European environment is important
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Ability to perform project management tasks on small projects, develop / execute project plans and to manage project resources, risks and budget
BUSINESS ANALYSIS: Ability to lead business process analysis of subject / functional area, challenging the as-is, whilst defining and gaining alignment to new business process / functional design Quickly analyses complex problems, sees connections / trends, and works against the right priorities
SYSTEMS & DATA ANALYSIS: Ability to lead functional and data analysis to design and define solutions utilizing standard features/functions, limiting the need for custom or bespoke development
The ability to document Functional Specifications, Requirements, User Journeys, Product Backlogs & Business Processes according to a variety of recognised standards
Possess highly developed interpersonal skills coupled with the drive and energy to play a central role in the development of this fast paced and evolving business

Experience of delivering projects in an FMCG environment would be an advantage
