Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support the cooking process by following instructions from senior chefs and ensuring timely meal assembly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Prepare ingredients and components for various dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Help with serving food to guests or during service periods, ensuring prompt and courteous delivery
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for everyone in the kitchen
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
