Join Our Award-Winning Team
Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) is a multi-award-winning, doctor-led home care company — and we’re looking for an organised, people-focused Part-Time Care Coordinator to join our busy and growing office team.
If you’re brilliant with people, love solving problems and get genuine satisfaction from making everything run smoothly, this could be the role for you.
Why Caremark?
For more than a decade, we’ve been supporting people across Buckinghamshire to live safely and independently in their own homes.
You’ll join an established team of Care Coordinators, led by our Senior Care Coordinator, so you’ll have plenty of support while developing your skills and making the role your own.
Location: Our Head Office in Aston Abbotts, near Aylesbury
Salary: £20,000 + bonuses
Hours: 4 days per week + 1 in 4 weekends
Role: Office-based
The good stuff
We want our team to feel supported, recognised and able to grow. You’ll receive:
- £20,000 salary plus bonuses
- 28 days’ paid holiday (pro-rata)
- Full induction and training through our Training Academy
- Ongoing training, qualifications and development opportunities
- £150 Refer a Friend scheme
- Blue Light Card, giving you access to thousands of discounts
- Pension contribution
- Experienced, approachable and supportive management
- The opportunity to grow with a successful, expanding care company
What will you be doing?
Think of the Care Coordinator as one of the key people keeping everything connected.
You’ll help make sure our clients receive reliable, high-quality care while ensuring our Care Professionals have well-organised rotas and the information they need to do a fantastic job.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Being a key point of contact for our clients and Care Professionals
- Providing outstanding customer service by phone and email
- Matching Care Professionals with clients based on the right skills, experience and needs
- Creating and managing rotas for care across Buckinghamshire
- Planning efficiently to minimise unnecessary changes and reduce travel between clients’ homes
- Keeping client and team information accurate and up to date on our care planning software
- Working closely with Care Professionals, Supervisors, Coordinators, Managers and Directors
- Helping ensure our services remain compliant with company policies and procedures
- Supporting the wider team with general office administration
Don’t worry if you haven’t used our systems before — full training will be provided.
Who are we looking for?
Care coordination experience would be fantastic, but it isn’t essential.
For the right person, we’re happy to provide the training and support you need to become a great Care Coordinator.
You’ll ideally have:
- At least 6 months’ experience in an office-based environment
- Excellent communication skills — both over the phone and by email
- Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to stay calm and think clearly when things get busy
- The confidence to work independently while also being a great team player
- A personable, empathetic and hardworking approach
- A genuine desire to provide excellent service
Even better if you have:
- Previous experience in care or care coordination
- Experience using PeoplePlanner or CarePlanner
These are advantageous, but not essential.
Sound like you?
We’re looking for someone who wants more than just an office job.
You’ll be joining a friendly, ambitious team where the work you do behind the scenes has a direct impact on the quality of care people receive every day.
If you’re organised, positive, great with people and ready for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply today and come and grow with Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe).
