Endoscopy/ ward staff nurse/recovery
We are seeking experienced Endoscopy and ward base nurses for our purpose built unit in the leafy surroundings of SBCH, Hengrove. Our current vacancies are in endoscopy and the pre- and post-operative ward area.

Perhaps this is near where you live or you want a change of scene from the city centre hospitals? You won't need to work night duty or on-call but you will need to be flexible to work a range of shifts across the week. Shift times include 0730 to 1900, 0800 to 1800 and 0800 to 17:00 and work across the trust totally 37.5 hours per week. there is an expectation to do one late shift per week.
We provide a wide variety of specialities and services . The unit provides a state of the art endoscopy service. including Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Colo rectal, Upper GI, Max fax, Pain and Occuloplastic procedures Gynae and Cataracts.
If you have endoscopy experience we would love to hear from you, but we are mostly looking for compassionate, dedicated nurses who want to give the very best care to our patients. There are plenty of training opportunities and many new skills to learn.

The team in DSEU work dynamically across specialities to allow for constant development and engagement. Members of the team are encouraged to progress their interested areas and take on extended roles including teaching and speciality lead support.
DSEU offer development opportunities and a variety of courses, including a recovery module and an anaesthetic module so that staff can increase their skills and knowledge to become multidisciplinary practitioners.
