EM Oils supplies fresh cooking oil to food businesses and collects their used cooking oil for recycling into biodiesel. We're looking for a reliable collection driver to join our team.
It's a hands-on, physically demanding role. Out on the road you'll run a multi-drop round of 12-20 stops a day in a 3.5t van, lifting and moving drums of used oil and working a tail-lift. Back at the unit you'll work in our oil processing area - it's messy work, so you'll need to be someone who's happy to get stuck in. It's 40 hours a week worked over four days (10-hour shifts), so you normally get three days off a week and you're home each night. Now and then we'll need a fifth day when we're busy, paid as overtime.
You'll need to be physically fit, reliable, comfortable with regular lifting and manual handling, and hold a full clean UK driving licence. Multi-drop, waste or oil-industry experience and a forklift licence are a bonus but not essential - full training is provided.
