Front of House Team Member – Weekends
£12.75 per hour + tronc/tips
16–20 hours per week

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Front of House Team Member to join us at The Black Horse in Cranham.
This role is primarily weekend-based and would suit someone who enjoys hospitality, likes working as part of a close team and takes pride in giving genuinely good service.
The Black Horse is an independent country pub serving quality food and drink in a relaxed but professional environment. We have an experienced team already in place and are looking for someone dependable to strengthen our weekend rota.
The role
Typical shifts will be focused around:
- Friday evenings
- Saturdays
- Sundays
- Occasional extra shifts during events, holidays and busy periods
You’ll be involved in all aspects of front-of-house service, including:
- Welcoming and looking after customers
- Taking food and drink orders
- Bar and table service
- Preparing the pub for service
- Maintaining clean and tidy service areas
- Supporting the wider team during busy services
- Helping with opening and closing duties where required
About you
Previous hospitality experience would be ideal, but attitude and reliability are just as important to us.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Happy working as part of a team
- Available regularly at weekends
- Able to get to Cranham for evening and weekend shifts
Hours and pay
- £12.75 per hour
- Tronc/tips paid in addition to your hourly rate
- Approximately 16–20 hours per week
- Part-time, permanent
- Mainly Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays
- Additional hours may be available during events and busy periods
- Paid for all hours worked
