Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted and oversee the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing care team.
- Ensure the home meets the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Promote safeguarding and positive behaviour support.
- Manage staffing, rotas, budgets and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s residential care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
