Job Title: Operations Administrator
Hours of work: This is a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week (worked over 5 days) (Mon to Fri – 9:00am till 5:00pm).
Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 dependent on experience.
About Us
Bridge Case Management is a family-run, friendly team of Case Managers, working with clients involved in personal injury claims. We specialise in cases that usually involve orthopaedic injuries and/or amputation, psychological issues, and pain, many of which are complex.
We work with the lawyers and insurers who are involved because of our clients’ personal injury claims. We create unique multidisciplinary teams for each client, acting as a “project manager” for those involved in the rehabilitation plan, while liaising with the litigating parties to ensure funds are available.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised Operations Administrator to support with the administrative functions of our operations department and be the liaison and administrative support for allocated Case Managers.
The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager. They must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills with an eye for detail as the main duties of this role will involve report checking for grammar, spelling and formatting as well as ensuring financial costs allocated are correct.
The ideal candidate will be able to foster a positive and nurturing work environment but being able to manage challenging situations when required.
The main responsibilities of the Operations Administrator role are (but not limited to):
- To implement the systems and processes to enable accurate and timely invoicing i.e., invoices sent out appropriately and on time, costs are accurately recorded and passed on to correct payer
- To provide support to allocated case managers ensuring all administrative aspects are dealt with fully and completed in a timely manner
- Ensure you follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for report checking, ensuring formatting and accuracy of outgoing reports
- To set up, monitor and close files in our database according to agreed procedures
- Support team compliance with relevant legal and administrative requirements (Service Level Agreements, insurance, DBS checks consent etc.)
- Monitor the workload of allocated case managers to advise the Operations Manager on appropriate allocation of cases
- To maintain accurate records detailing work undertaken and charges made
- Other administrative duties as agreed with the Senior Management Team (SMT).
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for this will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Accountability and responsibility to maintain a level of excellence across the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Outlook
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent administrative skills in document and reports management
