Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Football Podcast YouTube Longform Video Editor to edit our videos.
2 videos a week would be required.
Duties
- Edit and assemble longform football podcast videos, ensuring seamless flow and engaging storytelling
- Incorporate graphics, overlays, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other editing tools
- Collaborate with content creators to understand the vision and maintain brand consistency across videos
- Enhance video quality through color correction, audio balancing, and visual enhancements using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Optimize videos for YouTube platform specifications to maximize viewer engagement and reach
- Stay updated on current trends in football content and video editing techniques to continuously improve output
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing for longform content, preferably within sports or entertainment sectors
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of video editing workflows and best practices for YouTube publishing
- Skilled in photography and visual storytelling techniques to enhance video appeal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Knowledge of football culture, terminology, and current trends is highly desirable
