The role:
As an ERP Analyst in AS400/iSeries, you will help drive our goals by:
Partnering with stakeholders, end users, subject matter experts, and internal and external teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional ERP requirements.
Leading incident, problem, and service management activities, including triage, root cause analysis, vendor coordination, and timely issue resolution.
Performing ERP configuration, maintaining master data, monitoring interfaces, and supporting change, release, and environment management while ensuring data quality and governance.
Driving process optimisation and continuous improvement by mapping current processes, designing future-state solutions, supporting deployments, and developing automation, reporting, and KPI capabilities.
Ensuring compliance with IT controls, security standards, and audit requirements while providing user support, training, documentation, and promoting ERP best practices.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Proven experience and strong working knowledge of iSeries (AS400) environments.
Hands-on expertise in iSeries development, including RPG programming across multiple RPG versions and a solid understanding of system functionality.
Functional ERP expertise in at least one core business domain, such as Finance (GL/AP/AR/FA), Procurement & Distribution, Sales & Inventory, or Manufacturing & Costing, with the ability to assess and troubleshoot cross-functional impacts.
Previous experience supporting business-as-usual (BAU) operations, including incident resolution, stakeholder support, and service delivery.
Experience with ERP configuration, testing, and validation, including functional setup, test planning, defect management, and data verification.
Strong data and reporting capabilities, with experience using tools such as JDE FASTR and WorldWriter, alongside a focus on data quality, reconciliations, and process improvement within global, cross-functional teams.
