Lead. Organise. Deliver.
Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference?
Can you answer this question?
Your warehouse is getting busier, orders are falling behind, stock discrepancies are increasing and the team is under pressure. You have a shift to get things back on track. What would you do?
If it’s a YES! then you could be ready to take ownership of a busy warehouse operation and make your mark. We’d love to hear from you.
At Life Couriers, our operation is fast-paced, customer-focused and constantly evolving. We’re looking for a confident and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team, maintain high standards and help us deliver the next stage of our growth.
This is more than supervising a shift. You’ll have real responsibility for people, performance, stock accuracy, health & safety and operational standards, working closely with the Logistics Manager and wider operations team to keep the warehouse running efficiently.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading, supporting and developing the warehouse team, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.
- Taking ownership of daily warehouse performance, productivity and operational standards.
- Planning and allocating workload effectively to ensure orders and deliveries are completed on time.
- Supervising goods-in, picking, packing, loading and dispatch activities.
- Ensuring stock is handled accurately and efficiently, investigating discrepancies and maintaining strong stock control.
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised and operating safely at all times.
- Ensuring all company processes, health & safety procedures and compliance requirements are followed.
- Managing resources effectively and responding to changing workloads and priorities.
- Coaching team members, setting clear expectations and addressing performance issues when required.
- Working closely with transport and management teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Supporting training and development of new and existing warehouse colleagues.
- Identifying problems and taking action rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.
- Helping drive continuous improvement across the warehouse operation.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced warehouse professional who is comfortable leading from the front, making decisions and taking ownership.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience supervising or leading a warehouse, logistics or distribution team.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop and hold people accountable.
- A good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and operational KPIs.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good knowledge of health & safety within a warehouse environment.
- Confidence managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers and other teams.
- A “can-do” attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. This is a hands-on role.
- The confidence to make decisions, challenge the status quo and lead by example.
- Good IT skills, including experience with WMS, Excel and Word.
- Forklift experience/certification would be an advantage.
Why Life Couriers?
We’re a growing, ambitious logistics business where people, service and innovation are at the heart of what we do.
You’ll join a team that cares about delivering an excellent service and where your ideas, leadership and experience can have a real impact.
We’ll give you the autonomy, support and opportunity to develop your career as we continue to grow.
