The Role:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to coordinate the information flow into and out of the Fawdon Supply Chain team acting as the key conduit of communication between Fawdon Supply Chain and its internal and external customers including third parties. You will facilitate smooth progression of orders from order placement, through planning, packing and batch release.
You will be facilitating and attending meetings with internal stakeholders ensuring the KPIs are monitored, outages are addressed and appropriate escalations are agreed and that action owners are held accountable for delivery so organisation is a key strength.
Duties include running out of stock reports, ensure that packed batches flow quickly through the review and release processes so that they can be sold to our customers as quickly as possible. As well as facilitating queries from Intas Demand Planners, Markets or third parties, ensuring that the communication flows properly between these customers and the Fawdon Supply Chain team so that Planners are aware of requests and Demand Planners Markets and third parties are aware of our efforts to fulfill these.
The Person:
Understanding of the Order to Release process and an ability to identify barriers to packing and release on time. Driven to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to liaise with all authority levels, navigate cultural differences and use persuasion, negotiation and diplomacy abilities to constructively challenge. Able to facilitate meetings confidently and clearly
•Strong organisation skills, confident managing your own workload, balancing risks and setting clear priorities to meet deadlines.
•Calm under pressure, comfortable working in a changeable work environment and used to thinking on your feet to resolve problems.
•Good team player, always ready to help your colleagues to achieve collective goals.
•Experience of using ERP systems
•Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint
•Attention to detail
•Ability to challenge existing processes and effectively structure, draft and present improvement proposals.
•GMP environment and an understanding of those requirements
•Excellent written and spoken English.
•Good understanding of continuous improvement Lean manufacturing.
