We are looking for a team of enthusiastic individuals to join us for a fast-paced, 2-day project (13th and 14th August). If you have a great attitude, feel confident using a computer, and love helping people, we want to hear from you. No previous customer service experience is needed, we value personality and a positive outlook above all else!Where you'll be working:
We are based right in the city centre on the beautiful Newcastle Quayside. We’re in a fantastic location that is just an easy 8 minute walk from both Monument and Central Station Metro stations, making your commute a breeze.
This role could be ideal if you:
- Are a student home for the summer
- Have recently finished college or university

- Have experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service
- Enjoy talking to people and helping others
What you’ll be doing:
You will be the welcoming voice on the other end of the phone for students navigating the university Clearing process. This is a crucial role where you will help shape their futures!
- Guide & Support: Help prospective students understand their options and guide them through the university's Clearing process.
- Be a Reassuring Voice: Listen to students, offer solutions, and support them through their decision-making process.
- Update the System: Confidently log information on the computer as you chat.
What we are looking for:
- Confident Computer Users: You don’t need to be a tech genius! You just need to be comfortable using a computer and able to learn how to navigate a new system quickly.
- Empathy & Warmth: Clearing can be a stressful time. You’ll be speaking to students who might be disappointed or anxious about their exam results. A calm, empathetic, and reassuring phone manner is essential.
- A Positive Attitude: Energy, approachability, and a desire to help others.
- Reliability: Because this is a short 2-day project, we need people who are 100% committed to working both days.
Pay: From £24,784.50 per year
