Join us in making a real difference to local communities. In this role, you will help protect and improve public health and wellbeing by creating cleaner, safer and more sustainable neighbourhoods. You will work to prevent and address environmental crime, anti-social behaviour, nuisance issues and public health concerns, influencing positive behavioural change among landlords, tenants, residents and businesses. Through proactive intervention and partnership working, you will help ensure homes and communities across North Lincolnshire remain safe, healthy and welcoming for all.
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about improving the quality of life for local residents and creating cleaner, safer communities. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and influence behavioural change across a wide range of individuals, communities and organisations.
You will be confident working in challenging situations, using a balanced approach of education, engagement, prevention and enforcement to achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate will be resilient, professional and able to make sound decisions while managing competing priorities and complex casework.
Ideally, you will have experience in environmental crime, community safety, public health, environmental enforcement, regulatory services or a related field. You will also demonstrate:
