About the role
As part of our Front of House team, you'll play an important role in ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Providing knowledgeable and attentive food and beverage service.
- Setting up and maintaining the restaurant and bar to the highest standards.
- Advising guests on food, wines and drinks with confidence.
- Working alongside the kitchen and management team to deliver seamless service.
- Assisting with private dining, weddings and special events.
- Ensuring every guest receives the friendly, personal service Lewtrenchard Manor is known for.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a quality restaurant, hotel or hospitality venue.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Remains calm and professional during busy service.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
- Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail.
- Has an interest in food and wine. WSET qualifications or previous wine knowledge would be an advantage but are not essential.
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
