Are you an experienced sewing machinist looking for a new opportunity? Jasun Envirocare is seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our friendly production team on Colley Lane Industrial Estate.
Location: Just 1 mile from Bridgwater Town Centre with excellent road links to the M5. Free on-site parking available.
Salary:£12.71 per hour, paid weekly
Working Hours: Full-time, permanent role Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM
About the Role
As a Sewing Machinist, you will play a key role in our BAGS department, producing high-quality synthetic bag media for air filters. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with single-needle and overlock sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining sewing machines to produce filters according to job sheet specifications
- Sewing synthetic bag media with precision and attention to detail
- Meeting production targets while maintaining high quality standards
- Conducting basic maintenance, cleaning, and setup of machinery
- Reporting any machine faults or issues to the maintenance team
- General production duties - Cutting material, glass bags and stock bags

- Confidence in basic machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
